Anthem: O come ye servants of the Lord by Christopher Tye

Written by Izzy McDonald-Booth

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours
now and for ever.

The peace of God,

which passes all understanding,

keep your hearts and minds

in the knowledge and love of God,

and of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord;

and the blessing of God almighty,

the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,

be among you and remain with you always.

Go in the peace of Christ

Thanks be to God

St Hilda’s have been supporting Peoples Kitchen and WaterAid for many years.  In these difficult times our support is needed more than ever before.
The People’s Kitchen, celebrating 30 years of providing a unique service for the homeless and vulnerable people of Newcastle is gearing up for Harvest Festival time when much needed food donations to help people from as far afield as north Northumberland, Hexham and County Durham as well as North and South Tyneside who come into the charity’s warehouse in Newcastle.
Tins are very useful, but they are also able to use fresh produce too.
If shopping is difficult, you may prefer to send money for WaterAid… Please make your cheque out to – The PCC of St Hilda’s –  One cheque for all can then be sent from St Hilda’s church.
We are still taking food from St Hilda’s to Food Banks… via the Supermarket.  Any donations can be left in the boxes in church and they will then be taken away asap – Thank You! ***************************************************************************************************************
Stephanie’s Pilgrimage to Santiago de Com…  ‘Way of St James’.

She has now passed the half way point…

Terradillos de los Templarios to El Burgo Ranero, about 33km including an hour or so wandering around Sagahún. Officially passed the halfway point and got a certificate for it. Moderately less flat and I’m grateful for cloud cover and a light wind at my back, which made the trek a little easier.

Please hold Stephanie in your prayers as she continues to make her Pilgrimage.
